Hot off the heels of our post earlier on who the top three rumored names being tossed up for the job of Head Coach/GM of the St. Louis XFL franchise, it looks as if we may have some confirmation.

Earlier we reported that Martin Kilcoyne of 590 The Fan in St. Louis was hearing that the XFL was expected to hire former Cincinnati Bengals tight ends coach Jonathan Hayes.

We have now heard the same thing from multiple sources, so it looks more and more that Hayes is the man that will be filling the role. As there is still nothing official from the league, this is still a rumor. We’ll keep you posted as the situation develops.
