It’s Monday and it’s already a busy news week. Earlier the XFL announced that they would be establishing a Health Advisory Committee, then we reported that Chris Miller would be joining XFL Houston as Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach.
Now we have news out of Dallas, former Sooner, Jarrail Jackson will be joining the franchise as WR Coach.
Jackson’s impressive football background goes beyond the collegiate level as he spent a year with the New York Jets as an offensive intern assisting the program’s head coach Rex Ryan.
For six seasons, Jackson was the wide receivers coach and assisted with special teams at Dartmouth College where he coached seven All-Ivy selections and one All-New England Returner who was third in the FCS in punt returns.
Prior to Dartmouth, Jackson was a wide receivers coach at Central Oklahoma for two seasons, before beginning his coaching career at Chickasha High School in Chickasha, Okla.
After a four-year standout collegiate career at the University of Oklahoma, Jackson spent eight seasons playing professionally, including a two-year stint with the Buffalo Bills (2000-02). Jackson spent six seasons in the ArenaFootball2 League as well.
