Jagodzinski will work under head coach Bob Stoops and offensive coordinator Hal Mumme, whose hiring was announced last week.

Jagodzinski is best known for serving as Boston College’s head coach from 07-08. His two-season stint saw the Eagles go 20-8, including an 11-3 mark and a No. 10 final ranking in the 2007 AP poll, the program’s highest finish since Doug Flutie’s Heisman season of 1984.

However, Jagodzinski was fired by BC AD Gene DeFilippo for interviewing for the New York Jets head coaching position following the ’08 campaign.
